Children

Ira2
I love to see children,
Playing at the garden side.

They create new and fun games,
To be played with each other,
Games that are to be seen and heard,
For the years to come ahead,
I would like to see these games treasured.

For it is children's games,
Which enlighten our load;
So that we may see a brighter tomorrow,
On the morrow to home.

Fixation

The crowds keep drawing on the hypnotic eye,
We hope that the hold of the appeal;
Will withdraw masses from the grind.

The everday movement of the masses,
From the country to the town;
The mobilisation of the masses,
Makes its momentum felt in the town-side.

We hope that the weekend relaxes the crowds,
So the leasure hours are spent in contemplating on the future.

The future holds the key to the fame and fortune of the masses.

Examinations

Children, children! I tell you,
Exams are a pain in the neck.

You prepare for exams for extended hours;
You take painstaking efforts at studying hard,
Teachers and students lock their heads together,
And patiently go thro' long lists of papers!

This paper! That paper! We wonder when the long hours will end,
Put on the lights and study hard,
Goodness knows when the hours will end.

Everyone waits the arrival of each paper,
Concentrated brows and busy hands work by;
To each his own effort;
The morrow shall bring news of good tidings,
So the exams will end on a fortunate note.

Teachers, students and parents pray hard,
For the happy endings,
Let us endure the long hours of waiting in fun, play and games.

The Offbeat Time

When maturity dawns,
And adulthood emerges,
We hope that the future can bring in the rays of hope;
To cultivate a new generation that put in extra efforts inspite of the failing light!

Every day one puts in new efforts to develop and renew our energies,
For the roses of tomorrow are still to bloom,
The element of youth has a different story of its own to tell;
Let me tell you that hope never dies,
Or in the present eternity shall rise;
A new day full of hills and dales,
To renew a happy home-coming for the future.
